The Highest Tides on Earth: The Bay of Fundy sees up to 160 billion tonnes of water flood in and out twice a day. You can walk on the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park and watch the water levels rise over 30 feet within a few hours.
The French Fry Capital: Florenceville-Bristol is famously dubbed the "French Fry Capital of the World" because it is the birthplace of McCain Foods, which produces a massive portion of the globe's frozen fries.
The "Reversing" Water: Saint John is home to the Reversing Falls, a unique phenomenon where the immense tides of the Bay of Fundy are so powerful they force the Saint John River to flow backward.
Major Inventions: Believe it or not, New Brunswick innovations changed global winter and safety! The snow blower and the modern scuba tank were both invented in the province.
